Biography
Together artists Porter and Frost founded the collaboration ‘Living at the Edge’; L@tE.
L@tE takes an active form of actions, artworks, lectures and workshops with interested groups and agencies. It represents communities and public and private sector when a crisis occurs in relation to water management.
L@tE is not solely a visual arts project, but is also a tool to communicate across cultural boundaries, both nationally and globally. L@tE’s work reflects on the affects of how communities engage with ‘at the edge of water ‘issues. It aims to consider how the effects of climate change impacts communities in specific relation to water level.
Porter and Frost’s interests lie with communities’ real experiences. Communities are encouraged to use the dimensions of L@tE to creatively engage with their local land and waterscapes.
L@tE provides an online facility for collecting records of engagement linked to its core themes and dimensions.
The arena for this wider work is the physical geography and the perceived social landscape balance of its many contributors.
L@tE offers an opportunity for you to contribute your actions/art works to this global awareness raising site of special scientific interest.
